If you are an author who is interested in getting your book into Lakeside Books, please fill out the form below.  If you show up in person with your book, we will still direct you to fill out this form. This form does not guarantee a space at our store; we are a small store and do not have space for every book. Please note the following: we do not take books on a consignment basis. Books must be professionally edited, designed, formatted, and, in the case of children's books, professionally illustrated. The price of your book should also align with the current industry standards. Lastly, we prefer to order books from Ingram or the publisher. If this is not an option and we want to carry your book, we will offer you the standard wholesale rate that matches Ingram's. We also look at your website and social media presence heavily. We want to partner with authors who are dedicated partners, and that includes collaborations on and offline to support the local indie bookstore carrying your book.
